The house
Holiday home "La Mouette" has plenty of outdoor space with cosy chill spots. A well-tended garden with mature trees and a large field for playing or relaxing. The swimming pool with fine sunbeds has nice views and is fenced for safety. In front of and behind the house is a cosy patio where you can enjoy your meals in the sun or shade. There is a carport for cars. The exciting tree house is a favourite with the kids!
The atmospheric kitchen diner is fully equipped and the comfortable lounge area has a cosy wood-burning stove. There are 3 bedrooms (1 with 3 single beds and 2 with a double bed) which can easily accommodate a cot. The two bathrooms each have a shower, sink and toilet. All windows and doors have insect screens. The bedrooms have a ceiling or floor fan (no air conditioning).
A washing machine is available. Dutch television, high-speed internet and a cupboard full of fun games are available in the house.

A lovely family home for 7 (+baby) located in a quiet valley on the border of the Dordogne and the Lot et Garonne. Less than 20 minutes from Bergerac airport in south-west France.

In summer, there is a cosy food market somewhere every evening where you choose your dishes from the stalls of local farmers and caterers. Bring your own place settings and eat at long tables with the locals. There are many nice restaurants, from bistro to (semi)gourmet, in the surrounding bastide villages.
In the area around Bergerac, on the banks of the Dordogne River, wonderful wines are made. From dry white wines, rosés, reds to the delicious sweet white wines of Monbazillac. A little further on is Saint-Émilion, one of the most famous wine districts in the world. If you visit the city of Bordeaux, don't miss the wine museum!
Activities
Enjoy with the whole family or with friends the beautiful region also called the "Tuscany of France". Not far from popular medieval villages such as Monflanquin, Issigeac and Villereal. Nearby you will find beautiful castles, the Dordogne River, prehistoric caves, cosy restaurants and several vineyards. At 7 km is a large supermarket with petrol station and charging posts for an electric car.
