The house
Enjoy your holiday in this quietly located, idyllic thatched cottage which has recently been completely renovated and equipped with all comforts. The cottage sleeps 4 and has 2 bedrooms with new beds. There is a luxurious bathroom with walk-in shower and a fully equipped kitchen including an oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There is also a built-in wood-burning stove (fireplace) for those cooler days.

There is a spacious garden with lots of privacy, facing south and equipped with a raised terrace with sun loungers. There is also a covered terrace.
Although from the garden you walk straight into a vast walking area, the village of Campeaux with a bakery, épicerie, café, hairdresser and post office is a 5-minute drive away. Famous tourist attractions such as Mont Saint Michel and the World War II landing beaches are about a 45-minute drive away.

The owners have an orchard with apple trees. The different types of apples are used to make cider and pommeau, among other things. The owners warmly invite you to come and have a look and taste the home-made products (10 minutes' drive away).
Activities
From the garden, you can walk straight into a lovely hiking area. The area is also suitable for mountain bike lovers. The river Vire is about 1 km away on foot. A 10-minute drive away is a Bungee Jump Centre with other activities such as tobogganing, cable car, etc.
Many cultural and historical attractions are easily accessible as day trips, for example Mont Saint Michel, the D-Day beaches, the Breton port of Saint Malo and the channel islands of Guernsey and Jersey etc. In the towns of Vire and Saint-Lô, you can visit the cosy weekly markets, among others.
