Aux Papillons

This charming, Provençal house is hidden in the greenery on a large plot of over 14,000 m2. Seillans is about 1.5 km away. This village is on the list of 100 most beautiful villages in France. Here you will find narrow streets, cosy squares and beautiful views. One of the current owners had the house built in the late 1970s, entirely 'en pierres'. The house is surrounded by trees, including olive trees, cypresses and pine trees. In the large garden, slightly lower than the house, is the swimming pool (9 x 4 m).
All basic amenities are available in Seillans. A small supermarket, pharmacy, post office and some cosy restaurants.
Cannes, Nice, Grasse and St Tropez can all be reached within 45 minutes. So are the Mediterranean beaches at Théoule-sur-mer, Antibes and Juan les Pins. Closer by, 15 km away, is a large freshwater lake where all kinds of water recreation are possible such as fishing, pedalos, rowing and swimming. Along this lake, Lac St. Cassien, beaches have been built.
The impressive Gorge du Verdon is only 50 minutes away from Seillans.
The house is very spacious (total area. 200 m2). Upon entering, there is a large hall. From here is access to the cosy lounge with high ceiling. Many windows provide nice light. A spiral staircase leads to a mezzanine with a large library on the wall side. From the salon there are French doors (and windows) to the terrace at the front of the house. Adjacent to the lounge, there is a dining room from which there is access to the kitchen and utility room (washing machine). In the kitchen there is a door opening into the hallway. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, induction hob, oven and fridge/freezer.
From the hall there is a corridor leading to 2 double bedrooms, (in each room 2 beds of 100x200 cm). One bedroom has a bathroom with shower, toilet and sink located on the other side of the corridor. The other bedroom has an adjoining bathroom with bath/shower, toilet and 2 washbasins. Both rooms are very spacious and equipped with wardrobes. A sofa bed for 2 persons (155 cm wide) will soon be installed on the spacious mezzanine.
