The house
La Douce is a beautiful, attractive villa with a living area of 125 m2. The plot is over 1,600 m2 and has a remote-controlled entrance gate and parking for 4 cars. The villa can accommodate 6 people and you will enjoy complete privacy here.
This villa has a beautiful large swimming pool of 4.5 by 10 metres with integrated seating area surrounded by a beautiful Mediterranean garden with palm trees. There are several sun terraces and of course comfortable sun beds. The fully equipped outdoor kitchen is a great place for lunch or dinner, a professional plancha will contribute to this. There is also an outdoor shower. The villa is very quietly located but only a few minutes by car from the centre.
Layout:
The living room of 50 m2 and has a spacious sitting area with fireplace and a dining room area.
A beautiful kitchen is fully equipped, with oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. For a good cup of coffee, a Dolce Gusto machine and a classic coffee machine are at your disposal.
There are 2 double bedrooms and 1 bedroom with twin beds that together can also form a double bed. All rooms have comfortable mattresses and ample wardrobe space, There are 2 bathrooms, 1 with bath and shower and 1 with shower and double washbasin and there are 2 toilets. 2 powerful air conditioners on the ground floor cool the entire villa.

Wat hebben wij ongelofelijk genoten van dit heerlijke huis met zwembad. Ook voor onze zonen (14 en 16 jaar) een fijne plek om te chillen en plezier te hebben. Mooie inrichting, nieuw, schoon en comfortabel. Airco heel aangenaam. We voelden ons er direct thuis. En dan de tuin met het enorme zwembad. Wat een feest. We hebben er veel in, bij en rondom gezeten… wat ons betreft een enorme aanrader! Ook Lorgues is een bijzonder leuk plaatsje en ligt op loopafstand. Met gezellige markten en restaurantjes.

Beste Bram,
Wat hebben we een fantastische week achter de rug! Na 30 jaar jaarlijks met een camper op vakantie te zijn geweest, hadden we dit jaar geopteerd voor een vakantievilla. We hebben lang gezocht tot we bij deze villa terecht kwamen; we waren onmiddellijk verkocht en hebben dan ook onmiddellijk geboekt. De communicatie rond de boeking verliep super. De vakantie zelf is heel goed verlopen. Een prachtig huis met alle voorzieningen, rustig gelegen maar lekker dicht bij de bakker en de restaurantjes. Het zwembad is werkelijk subliem; we hebben er volop van genoten! Ook de omgeving biedt veel mogelijkheden. Een dikke welverdiende 10 op 10!Comment from Bram Bakker

Restaurants, food & wine
You can eat delicious food in the area at very reasonable prices. There is something for everyone and every restaurant has a children's menu.
Tips for a good and affordable restaurant visit:
- Follow the French, where they dine it is good and reasonably priced
- Choose the daily special or
- the 3-course menu
- Take a carafe of house wine (pichet), always good and often a quarter of the price per bottle.
Provence is famous for its beautiful (rosé) wines, visit a wine chateau!
Activities
La Douce is located between le Thoronet and Lorgues, both known for their award-winning rosé wines. The bakery, a small supermarket, a tabac with Dutch newspapers and a bar/restaurant are 3 car minutes away in le Thoronet or in Saint Antonin du VAR.
The villa is 45 minutes from the Mediterranean Sea, nearest coastal towns are Sainte Maxime and Saint Tropez. Cannes is 45 minutes and Monaco 1½ hours away.
Lorgues is a picturesque town, with houses in warm colours, cosy shops and terraces. The Provencal market on Tuesday mornings is famous and is also mentioned in the Michelin Guide, you will find many delicious regional products as well as clothes.
A short distance away you will find the beautiful towns of Roquebrune sur Argens, Plan de la Tour and at a 1-hour drive the world-famous Lac de Sainte Croix, with its turquoise water and beautiful, wild nature.
In the immediate vicinity, you can canoe on the river, go horse riding (tours through the beautiful nature), all water sports by the sea and on Lac de Sainte Croix.
There are various playgrounds for children and an adventure park at 5 km where the kids can climb from tree to tree. There are several circuses and festivals throughout the summer (April-October) in the immediate vicinity. In Fréjus (30 km) there is an Aqualand, a play paradise with water slides, wild water rapids, etc.
