We have renovated this Provençal house with pool and large outdoor kitchen dating from 1972 so that the house has all modern conveniences without becoming a new-build house. We fell on this house in France, VAR, for its friendly atmosphere, it really is a family home. The previous owners have lived there with their family since its construction. So we are the 2nd owners. But perhaps even more important is the 3000m2 garden; Years-old large trees and 50 olive trees give the garden a very friendly and peaceful holiday atmosphere. You really live outside here! From April to October and you can do so in our 7 by 5 metre fully equipped outdoor kitchen with stone pizza oven, sink, fridge and BBQ, at the 10 by 5 metre pool! The house stands on the edge of the village in a residential area where mostly the French live. So the house is not totally remote. But at 7 minutes' walk you are in the forest or if you turn left out of the house, in 15 minutes in the village.
About the holiday home with swimming pool: you enter the house in the living kitchen. Edu, along with Marianne the owner, is a hobby cook. So the kitchen is well equipped if you want to cook inside but the outdoor kitchen also has everything you need, so no dragging things from inside to outside.
The living room is in open connection with the kitchen and an open staircase in the living room leads to the mezzanine and access to bedroom 2 & 3 and the 2nd bathroom.
Kitchen and living room have French doors to terrace/platform at front of house. The dining area in the kitchen diner has patio doors to the back garden. There is a large terrace and also the boules court. From this side you also walk to the outdoor living kitchen and the swimming pool. We have 6 sunbeds by the pool.
Bedroom 1 is on the ground floor. This bedroom with double bed 160 by 200 cm, overlooks the pool and the outdoor kitchen and has an en suite bathroom with walk-in shower. Toilet is separate in the corridor.
On the 2nd floor you will find 2 bedrooms sharing the (large) bathroom with walk-in shower, toilet and freestanding bathtub. Bedroom 2 has a 160 x 200 cm bed and bedroom 3 has 2 80 x 200 cm beds, which can be pushed together to form a double bed.
