The house is located between the Provencal villages of Cotignac, Carcès and Monfort sur Argens, in the heart of Provence.
Cotignac is 2.5 km away - it is a typical medieval village with friendly café terraces under the plane trees, restaurants with regional specialities & wines. On the Cours Gambetta, you will find many shops. You can do your shopping here, but don't forget to visit the Provençal markets so typical of the region. You can taste and buy all the products of the region.
Cotignac is a village of character nestled at the foot of a majestic tufa rock. This impressive backdrop, sculpted by the waters of the river, shelters troglodytic caves.
To the south-west of Cotignac, on Mont Verdaille, the Chapel of Notre-Dame-de-Grâces was built in 1519, famous for its pilgrimage commemorating the apparition of the Blessed Virgin.

Layout
Adjacent to a charming Provençal-style villa, our gîte consists of a main room fully equipped for two adults. The house is situated on a private plot of 2200m², fenced with an electric gate, planted with pine trees offering shady and pleasant spaces for a siesta to the sound of cicadas.
You enter through a large French window into the main room, which is equipped with a sitting area with sofa and TV, a double bed, a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, microwave, dishwasher, cooker and oven for your indoor or outdoor meals, and a bathroom with shower and toilet.
Come and enjoy the pizza oven available on request and a relaxing moment by the pool.

The Mediterranean is only 45 km away, Aix en Provence is three quarters of an hour away for its museums and cultural centres. The airports of Nice, Toulon and Marseille are easily accessible.
Visit natural sites such as the Verdon gorges or the Sillans waterfall.
