The house
This cosy wooden chalet is at walking distance from the lake (Lac de Serre-Ponçon) and the village Savines-le-lac.
The chalet has a spacious living room with separate sitting area, dining area and an open kitchen. This kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, oven, fryer, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and microwave.
The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub (+shower), separate sink. Toilet and storage room are separate.
The chalet has 2 terraces, a large terrace at the back and a smaller terrace at the front with view on the lake.
The chalet has 3 separate bedrooms furnished with a double bed and fitted wardrobes.

Activities
The chalet is located near Le Lac de Serre-Ponçon. One of the largest artificial lakes of Europe. This chalet is therefore situated at the ideal location to practice many sports activities.
So for those who like to be on or in the water this is the ideal place. On the lake you can make a quiet tour with a boat or if you are more daring you can go water skiing or wakeboarding.
Of course, you don't have to have a motorboat to have fun on the water. Besides boating, you can sail, surf and even kite on the lake, especially in the afternoon there is a good wind.
Since the lake is emptied every year, it must be refilled. Well, the lake is replenished every year by melt water coming from the surrounding mountains. The water comes from two rivers (La Durance and L' Ubaye). These two rivers are also the basis for great rafting experiences!
For those who have their own motorboat, there is the possibility to rent a jetty (20 euros/day). This jetty is also within walking distance of the chalet. It is also possible to leave sailboats or surf gear on the beach for an ideal Sail/Surf experience.
The chalet is located in the Hautes-Alpes, an ideal location for beautiful mountain walks. There are also several parks in the area, ideal for a day out.
For the more sporty among us, it is of course also possible to make beautiful cycling trips through the beautiful Alps. This region is known for its various 'cols' that every type of cyclist (from beginner to experienced cyclist) can climb.
For the golfers, there is a beautiful golf course in Gap. This is about 30 minutes drive from the chalet.

Further remarks
For lovers of the Tour de France, this chalet can also be an ideal place. In certain editions the Tour de France passes through the village of Savines-le-Lac. So ideal to cheer on the favourites. In 2020 the Tour de France will again ride a beautiful stage through the village of Savines-le-Lac. Support for the favourites is thus also possible this year.
