The house
A very large, modern, spacious apartment with access to an above ground pool. The apartment was renovated in 2020 to a very high standard. The bathroom has an Italian shower and there is a separate toilet. All the beds are high quality and very comfortable. The bedrooms are very spacious and bedding and towels are provided. The lounge and dining area are very spacious. The table is made from oak and seats 6 people. The lounge area has a recently fitted log burner and there is plenty of seating for everyone. There is a smart TV and wifi. The lounge gives access to a private balcony with an outside staircase into the garden. The garden is shared with the owners but guest will have exclusive use of the pool during their stay. The kitchen is fitted and has an electric hob, extractor and oven. There is a kitchen table an abundance of crockery and pots and pans. There is also a microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster and fridge.

Situated in a small village called Pouzac In the Hautes Pyrenees which is situated 1.5KM from the spa town of Bagneres De Bigorre. Easy access to local supermarkets and a 1 minute walk to the bus stop with routes to Tarbes Bagneres De Bigorre and the ski resort. Maybe you would also liker to visit the famous Basillica in Lourdes.

Restaurants, food & wine
There are many restaurants in Bagneres De Bigorre, French, Thai, Nepalise and many more. There are also many quaint Cafes. La Mongie and Tarbes also have an abundance of lovely restaurants and bars. There is a market every Saturday morning which is very well attended, selling lots of local produce and an indoor market which is open daily.
Activities
We are situated 1.5km from the spa town of Bagneres De Bigorre and there is easy access to the mountains for cycling, VTT, hiking and skiing. The owner and her husband are experienced cyclists and are able to give advice on cycling and local hikes. The nearest ski resort is La Mongie which is 35 minutes by car. Golf De Bigorre is also situated approximately 1.5kms away. There are many outdoor activities in the area; Maybe you like fishing, paragliding, climbing.... It is all on your doorstep
Cycling
The Hautes- Pyrenees is extremely popular with cyclists of all levels and there are hundreds and different routes to choose from. The world famous Col de Tourmalet and Col D'Aspin can be reached from the property, along with the rolling hills in The Barronnies. The Tour de France passes through the area every year.
Hiking/Walking
We are located in the foothills of the Pyrenees and thousands of walks and be found for every level. Many of the walks are centred around mountain lakes. Good examples of these being Lac Bleu and Pont D'Espange.
Skiing
There are numerous ski stations in the Pyrennes, the closest and largest being La Mongie at the Col de Tourmalet. The property is also ideally located for those who wish to ski at different resorts, good examples being Cauterets and Saint Lary Soulan.
Water Sports
There are plenty of opportunities to enjoy kayaking, canyoning, rafting and many other water sports in the area.
Golf
There is a world class golf course 1.5kms from us. The fees being very reasonable.
There are further courses at Lourdes, Tarbes and Lannemezan.
Caves
There are numerous caves in the region, some with prehistoric cave painting and others with the most magnificent formations.
Cures/thermal baths
The region is famed in France for its thermal waters and many still come to take the ''cures''. There is also a modern spa bath and hammam in Bagneres.
Local Markets and towns
We are close to the pilgrimage town of Lourdes. Pau, a beautiful historic city, is only a hour away. There is the medieval town of St Bertrand de Comminges.
Bagneres has plenty of restaurants and bars for the evening also has a vibrant market every Saturday.

Further remarks
The apartment is attached to the owners house and there are neighbours so parties are not allowed and noise must be kept to a minimum after 10pm.
The owners also has 2 small dogs and 3 cats.
The garden is shared with the owners.
