Cami de Bidale

This 17th century property is the perfect base for family and group holidays. Set in seven hectares of woodland and pasture, with panoramic views and with its location just 8 km from Lourdes and 10 km from Bagneres-de-Bigorre, Cami de Bidale is superbly located for exploring the Hautes Pyrenees region.
The main house, BIdalet, has a spacious entrance hall featuring an imposing stone staircase. There is a large salon, featuring oak beams and French doors leading onto the main terrace. There is a comfortable sitting area and the room is stocked with games, books and French satellite TV. Next door is the fully fitted kitchen with a rustic charm and an oak monastery table as its central feature.
Each bedroom has an en-suite bath and/or shower room, including a washbasin and WC. One bedroom has a queen-size bed (160x200cm), the bedrooms can be configured as either twins (90x200cm) or king-size doubles (180x200cm).

The fifth bedroom is found in La Clique, a studio apartment, with separate entrance. La Clique has a floor space of 30 sq m (300 sq ft) arranged in an open plan design with a separate bathroom. The bedroom area is configurable as either a twin or king-size double. La Clique also has a private south-facing terrace with panoramic mountain views.

There is a laundry facility in an adjoining building.

There is a 12.5m x 5m solar-heated swimming pool which offers panoramic views of the Pyrenean chain. In the garden you can enjoy boules, croquet, Kubb, and table tennis. Many guests bring their own bicycles and the spacious garage features bike storage and workshop facilities.

A games room was added in 2022 which has American pool, babyfoot and darts.
Road and mountain bikes can also be hired from nearby shops.

The owners live on the property and are happy to help with local information and arrangements. Some occasional pool and garden maintenance may be required but for the most part they are keen for families to have their privacy and enjoy the space.
