The house
For the regular viewers, indeed, the ground floor has been completely renovated, new wooden floor, new furniture, new look, environment, is still, calm and peaceful!
Ground floor: living room, radio/CD player, video/DVD player available including a large assortment of DVDs and video tapes, open kitchen with cooker with oven, microwave, refrigerator. Sanitary facilities: 1 shower, 2 washbasins and 2 toilets, all in separate rooms, washing machine.
On the first floor: three spacious bedrooms with a view of the park. Duvets and pillows provided. Storage for your bikes; garden furniture, barbecue and parasol available.
Outside you will find the jeu de boules court, swing, table tennis table and trampoline ! WiFi is free in the neighbourhood of the cottage, i.e. inside there is no coverage due to the thick, 60 cm, walls, outside the cottage there is!

Charming holiday home with a beautiful garden, where you can enjoy your peace and quiet and your holiday. The house is located in a very quiet area, but within half an hour drive you are at the beautiful rocky coast with its picturesque villages. In the immediate vicinity are several hiking trails so you 'home' your walking shoes and can already pull out directly! Of course the surroundings invite you to make walks, it is very hilly and there are many, narrow, 'hollow' roads.
Fishing, several fishponds in the area, you can catch trout during the day and put them on the bbq in the evening!
Do you like horse riding, in Moyon, at 10 km distance there is a riding school; do you not like indoor horse riding, but you like to go out with a horse, the riding school also provides these kind of activities.
Talking about horses and riding schools, did you know that in Saint Lô the biggest stud farm of France is located and that every Thursday, during the summer months, they have an open day with dressage examples on the premises?

Restaurants, food & wine
The choice of gastronomy is great, you can choose a Normandy, country kitchen, on the coast you will find, of course, a large selection of fish dishes. Of course, you can also go for a pizza and mussels and fries.
Normandy has not much to offer in the way of wine, except of course the world-famous cider, pommeau and calvados, all made from the cider-apple, which is harvested at the end of October/beginning of November.
In the cottage you will find a booklet with business cards with addresses where you can go for a quick bite, extensive dining, good 'Italianing' or just step in for the 'menu of the day
Activities
You should also visit Le Mont Saint Michel, the beautiful abbey situated on an island off the coast. Of course, there is the zoo of Champrépus, near Villedieu les Poêles, the copper and tin city. You can go canoeing on the river Vire. The caves of Caumont l'Eventée have a surprising element. Railbikes, idd a 4-person bike over 20 km of rail bikes, bungee jumping from the viaduct de Souleuvre, the cathedral in Coutance, the beautiful town of Granville, especially the older part of the city if you like walking, beach in Jullouville with miles of beach and a big tide difference.
Festyland, the amusement park, the trampoline park in Caen where you can also find a war museum, the Memorial. This is a small summary of the many activities you can undertake. In the holiday home you will also find a folder with information about activities.

Further remarks
Ideal for a Bed and Brakfast is our mobil-home, minimum 2 nights, cosily decorated, max 4 persons, lovely sitting outside, at the edge of the forest..... we often hear the owl!
In June, July and August you can only book full weeks, this concerns both the cottage and the mobile home, during the other 8 months you can 'come and go as you please', see price list.
We can tell you a lot about everything there is to do, a number of sights you can not skip, such as Le Mont St Michel, Villedieu les Poêles the city, Coutance the city, Stud farm in St Lô, invasion beaches, caves in Caumont l'Eventée and so we can tell you much more, in the cottage you will find a folder with all sights and things you can do / visit, curious become ?

Een knus huisje met veel privacy in een landelijke omgeving. De enorme tuin biedt vers fruit en veel mooie plekjes waar je oa lekker kunt eten, relaxen of heerlijk kunt genieten van de ondergaande zon.
