The house
On the shores of the Bay of Mont Saint Michel, adorable little 17th century stone house for 2 people (30m2), totally independent and tastefully renovated, set in the middle of a large hectare and a half of parkland planted with trees and flowers, classified as a bird sanctuary (50 species of birds). An idyllic setting with leisure facilities (hammock, swing, table tennis, playground, with a real bakery at the end of the large park, renovated with the help of the Fondation du Patrimoine, etc.), exotic plant varieties and local microclimate. Peace and quiet guaranteed. An ideal location for those who love peace and quiet, walking or cycling... and unforgettable scenery in the wonderful bay of Mont Saint Michel and the surrounding area. For a calm and stress-free holiday, I will personally welcome you here at Domaine de la Chauvinière, where I was born, welcome!

In our independent property, you will discover a large park with trees and flowers of more than one hectare, an ornithological refuge of the GONm (Groupe Ornithologique Normand) with 40 species of birds. You will be able to admire local and exotic plant varieties (palm trees, bamboo, magnolias, hibiscus...) which benefit from the local microclimate. New: You can now see a real bakery renovated under the auspices of the Fondation du Patrimoine. Cycling on the "véloroute" circuits passing by our Domaine. View of the Mont Saint Michel nearby, edge of the bay at 3 km and at 4 km, the first beautiful beach in the magnificent bay of the Mont Saint Michel. Nous avons passé un très beau séjour dans ce gîte. Accueil impeccable par Jean-Louis qui nous a très vite mis à l'aise. La maison était parfaitement équipée et nous avons pu profiter du cadre magnifique (calme, au vert et spacieux). Merci pour cette décompression !

Our holiday in the beautiful 17th century little house was great, party because of the owner Jean-Louis. He gave us lot of tips and was also very interested. There is much to see and do in the area, surrounding Domaine de la Chauvinière. But there is also a lot to see on the domain itself. We enjoyed the many different bird species, that found their home there, thanks to the good care of Jean- Louis. Our 3 week vacation flow by and we enjoy every moment! Thank you Jean-Louis!

Très belle semaine passée au Domaine de la chauviniere, à Bacilly.
Gîte bien équipé et suffisant pour deux personnes, proche des plages, du mont saint Michel et de Granville, Avranches,la pointe du groin..
Le sympathique propriétaire des lieux, M. Boudant, est toujours à notre écoute et de bons conseils..
Déjà envie d'y retourner!!

Activities
On the estate, you can take a walk in the large wooded and flowery park, practice leisure activities for children and adults (table tennis, football, large sandy area, swing, hammock, etc.). A "véloroute" cycle route passes close to the Domaine as well as hiking trails. All water sports and seaside activities can be practiced. An unforgettable place!
