The house
Our self-catering 2 bedroom gite is attached to our home, and benefits from its own private access from our lane, and its close proximity to the Bay of Morlaix coast, sailing school, and the riding school next door. Your private terrace leads on to a large fenced and shared garden. Renovated in 2015, our gite has the modern conveniences you'll appreciate, but retains it's original charm. The kitchen appliances include electric hob and oven, and a dishwasher. There is wifi internet access, French or English TV, and DVD. We are a short 10 minute walk to the coast, and in the summer season and on most weekends, to the two restaurants at Terenez.

We are close to the coast, and enjoy the weather that brings. The private south facing terrace, is warm and shielded from the wind. The terrace looks out over the fenced garden area. To the north is a riding school, where horses can be hired and the local area has many a trails that can be used by walkers as well. Just up the road, opposite the boat repair shop, is the quickest walking route to the beach, The coast path goes left to the Terenez point (Le Radeau and Les Embruns restaurants) and right along the coastal path to St Samson beach and beyond. You can also follow the green cycle route sign which is a slightly longer route through Terenez village.
200 metres past the garage is the GR34 Randonee cycle/hiking path that follows the coast in both directions around the Morlaix bay.

Restaurants, food & wine
Two restaurants are within walking distance at Terenez Point (Le Radeau and Les Embruns). The port town of Morlaix (15 minutes drive), has a wealth of quality rsatants, cafes, and shops. Plougasnou also has several quality restaurants (A Gouter Breton, and Maison de Kerdies, ...)
Activities
Just 10 min walk to the coast, and sailing school, and next to the Kermebel Equestrian Centre, or take the free bus to the area beaches (summer only).
Nearby there is a diving school, surfing school, Eco Park (zip line), and golf course. Oceanopolis is about 40 minutes away.
