Côtes d'Armor
Île de Bréhat, ten minutes by boat from the Pointe de l'Arcouest to the island of Bréhat, and you are in a totally different world. Time stands still here! A subtropical climate, unusual colours and landscapes: enough to let you be enchanted by the magic of the Island of Flowers.
Les Sept-Iles The seven islands Off the beautiful Pink Granite Coast, particles of the continent loom in the sea. By boat, you can enter the fairytale kingdom of seabirds. The puffin, gannets, and if you are lucky, seals and dolphins.
La Rouche Jagu castle with beautiful gardens, high above the river.
Silon du talbert Unique in Europe a natural dam, a bird sanctuary.
Pink Granite Coast The mild maritime climate and a generous nature allowed a special landscape to develop here. Look carefully around and you will see birds and dolphins and typical 'enclos paroissiaux'... sometimes literally in a pink setting.
Treguier Embraced by the Jaudy and Guindy rivers, Tréguier offers a host of cascading seductive alleyways and squares starting at the port and ending at the hill. Protected by the cathedral's slender spire, half-timbered houses bear witness to the town's intense intellectual and artistic appeal.
Activities
Here, this looks like a shark, and that over there a rabbit. And look, there: a turtle, a witch... Along the Pink Granite Coast, you can have endless fun giving names to the jagged rocks found along the coastline. And their colour? Pink of course, a warm pink with a golden glow that lights up when the sun shines on it. From Bréhat to Trébeurden, the Pink Granite Coast shows its wondrous forms: facing a ring of islands and islets, next to an inlet with a sandy beach, under the shelter of pine trees. In Port Blanc and Plougrescant, their appearance changes with the tides. Along the coast the granite is pink in colour, further inland and along the estuaries of the Trieux and Jaudy you see grey granite. Birds seem to appreciate that colourful spectacle. The Sept-Îles national nature park, off the coast of Perros-Guirec, is home to one of the largest colonies of seabirds, with especially puffins, gannets and cormorants.Côtes d'Armor
