The house
This luxury Villa was constructed in 2008. It is very spacious with a total of 200m2 over 2 floors. On the ground floor there the big living (45m2) with flat screen HD (42 inch with UK and international channels), DVD, radio and CD. The kitchen is in a separate room. It is in a typical provencal style but of course has all the modern luxury. The ground floor has 1 bedroom for 2 persons. On the first floor you will find 3 bedrooms each for 2 persons and the luxury bathroom. This floor also offers the unique covered terrace with a fabulous view on the wide surroundings.
As mentioned the kitchen includes all modern luxury such as electrical oven, microwave, dishwasser and big fridge (plus an extra one in the garage). On the terraces outside you will find the lounge seats and dinner tables. The large teakwood table easily accomodates up to 12 persons to really enjoy the provencal diners. Here you can also use a large gas barbeque. Directly in front of the house is the big private pool (10 by 4m) with the appropriate furniture. From the pool you have a magnificent view on the surroundings.
The villa has a big garage and of course you can put your car there.

The Villa is situated on one of the most beutiful places on the Domaine Les Demeures du Luc. It has a stunning garden of 6000m2 filled with lavenders, oleanders, olives, grapes and of course all the provenal herbs. When you prepare your dinners you can give it the finishing provencal touch right from what you can find in the garden! The garden has a number of terraces, some covered, with a magnificent panorama on the Vaucluse, Luberon and the Alpilles. The big private pool is in the middle of the garden surrounded by grapes and oleanders.
Directly from the garden you can start beautifull cycle or walking tours into the "Monts de Vaucluse". The Mont Ventoux is around the corner.
On the Domaine there is a Dutch couple who takes care of the properties and receives the new guests. They also serve fresh bread in the morning from May until September.
The Domaine also has a large pool for all guests, free tennis cours and a petanque court. There is a 18 holes golf court (Golf de Provence) at 5 minutes.
Nearby (2 km) is the river Sorgue where you can kanoe. Lots of other touristic opportunities as well such as Fontaine de Vaucluse at 2 km and the famous places Gordes, Roussilion, Lacoste, Bonnieux and Menerbes all within 20km.
The Villa is 5 km from Isle La Sorgue, 20 km from Avignon (and the Route du Soleil). St Remy and Les Baux de Provence are at 30 minutes. Marseile, Arles, Nimes and the beaches are one hour away.
It is conveniently reachable by car (950 km from Brussels), by air (Marseille) or train (TGV Avignon).

Restaurants, food & wine
The Vaucluse is a paradise for those who like good food and wine and it is very easy to find the restaurants that offer this (just make sure that you know what you order when you ask for "Andouilette", when you like Haggis its okay).
There are many famous wine chateux in the area such as Chateux Neuf du Pape, Gigondas and Bandol.
Activities
The surrounding Vaucluse offers magnificent nature and culture embedded in a comportable mediterranean climate.
At 2 km you can embark on a canoetrip. The well known places Isle La Sorgue (Antique market) and Fontaine de Vaucluse (known from the natural source feeding the river Sorgue) are within a few minutes. Avignon with its famous Palais du Pape, Pont d'Avignom and festivals is a 30 minutes. Many other interesting villages are within reach and if you want you can visit a different local market every day!
