The house
Villa France is located on a quiet road in the hills between Callian and Montauroux. It is a modern villa with swimming pool set in a beautiful, mature garden (2500 m2) with complete privacy. From the terrace is a beautiful panoramic view of the village of Callian. It is a 20-minute walk to the village of Montauroux where all kinds of local shops, cafes and restaurants can be found.
The house has a cosy living room with an adjoining open-plan kitchen. French doors give access to the terrace and the beautifully landscaped garden with private pool (9x4 m). The kitchen is equipped with all kinds of appliances. Downstairs is a bedroom (double bed 160x200) with an adjoining bathroom with shower and toilet.
On the first floor are 3 bedrooms: 1 with double bed (160x200) and 2 with twin beds. There is a bathroom with bath and shower and a separate toilet. Plus another bathroom with shower and washbasin. There is also a cot.

Villa France is very quietly located on a narrow road in the hills between Callian and Montauroux.
The distance to the coast is 25 minutes' drive. Here you will find places like Cannes, St.Raphaël, Fréjus, St. Tropez and (the airport of) Nice. In the interesting hinterland of the Côte d'Azur you will find places like Grasse and St. Paul de Vence and the mountains of the Alpes-Maritimes and the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. Between Cannes and Fréjus lies the pristine and vast nature reserve: Massif de Esterel. A short distance from the Var, you will find the Gorges du Verdon.

Fantastisch huis op een prachtige plek. Mooi uitzicht over de vallei en op het dorpje Callian. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. Grote leefkeuken waar werkelijk alles in zit. Wij hebben hier een heerlijke week gehad
Restaurants, food & wine
The region is home to several Provençal wineries, many of which are open for tastings. Restaurants come in all shapes and sizes: from a Michelin-starred restaurant to a cosy French bistro.
For example, on the village square under the plane trees is the cosy terrace of restaurant La Gloire de mon Père or Restaurant Chez Hugo. Restaurant Le Castalleras even has a Michelin star and serves haute cuisine.
Activities
GOLF The region is home to many golf courses: from the prestigious Terre Blanche in Tourrettes to the high-altitude course at Taulane.
Hiking The Var is criss-crossed by numerous hiking trails, sentiers de grande randonnee. Seillans is on one such trail, the GR31.
BIKE In the land of the Tour de France, there are of course many cycling routes. So too in the Canton de Fayence.
gliding near Fayence is one of the largest glider airfields in Europe. The area is ideal because of its favourable thermals.
EATING AND DRINKING In the region there are several Provencal wineries where you can go for a tasting. Restaurants come in all shapes and sizes: from Michelin-starred restaurants to cosy French bistros.
BEACHES On the south coast you will find one beach after another. Something for everyone: be seen in St.Tropez, the naturist beach in Ramatuelle or private on a small bay between Agay and Cannes!
