The house
beautiful villa in a rural location yet just 15 mins drive to fabulous
beaches - a wonderful location for your holiday.
Villa has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with living area, kitchen (with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer and electric cooker). The master double bedroom is downstairs with french doors to the garden, its own dressing room and ensuite shower room; also downstairs is a separate toilet/cloakroom. Upstairs there's a double bedroom with french doors to a balcony overlooking the garden and fields beyond, a triple bedded room (bunk plus single bed) with ensuite shower/toilet room, and a further triple bedded room with bunk and single bed. The main bathroom with shower and double basins is accessed from the landing with separate toilet alongside.
The large fenced garden has a 9.5m x 4.5m heated and floodlit swimming pool with rigid bars pool cover, lawns and mature shrubs and patio areas with covered terrace area for shade. Off road parking and garage.

The region is bursting with things to do for the whole family. Sandy beaches and rocky coves extend up and down this coastline giving you lots of choice for your beach trip; water sports are also popular. Quiet country lanes and farm tracks around the site join a huge network of cycleways to explore the region, whether heading inland or out to the coast. Nearby lakes and reservoirs offer peaceful walks, fishing and water sports.
Horse riding, go-karting, quad biking are all available in close proximity plus numerous visitor attractions including a working windmill, chateaux, scented gardens, vineyards, butterfly farms, zoo, children's play parks, and tree top adventure trails.
You're spoilt for choice when it comes to restaurants; whether you choose to stay on-site at the bar/bistro or restaurant, or take a short trip to the neighbouring village of Saint Reverend to the tiny pizzeria set in the grounds of the working windmill or venture to Saint-Gilles and its wide range of restaurants catering for all tastes.

Vriendelijke ontvangst door Phil en hij staat echt tot je dienst voor al je vragen en komt snel met oplossingen. Prima gastheer!
Het appartement vonden wij te duur voor wat je krijgt. Het is ruim maar de staat is niet goed. Alles is wat verpauperd /gedateerd en niet echt fris. Bijvoorbeeld De stoelen vielen letterlijk uit elkaar, zijn wel omgewisseld tijdens ons verblijf en De koelkast heeft zijn beste tijd wel gehad, bij het zwembad liggen de tegels los en laat de lining los. Kortom het gehele huis en zwembad is toe aan een renovatie/update. Dit zou bij boeken duidelijk beschreven moeten worden in welke staat het verkeerd en daar zou de prijs ook naar moeten zijn. Nu is deze echt te hoog!
Ondanks dit wel een fijn verblijf gehad.

The Domaine is based around the Golf des Fontenelles. Activities available on site include; 18-hole golf course, driving range and putting green, tennis courts (fees apply), cycling (bike hire is available locally) and walking with links to quiet country lanes around the site, boules court - and peace and quiet!
On-site there's a restaurant offering fine dining which we can thoroughly recommend. The golf clubhouse has a bar for drinks and light snacks until early evening.
This peaceful rural location is only 10 minutes drive to Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie, which has a harbour, restaurants and shops and bustling daily markets. The Grande Plage at Saint-Gilles is the nearest beach - offering fine sand and safe bathing, just 15 mins drive away.
