La Petite Coquais

La Petite Coquais is an 18th Century Barn conversion completed in 2005 and is all on one level making it suitable for persons who are less mobile or elderly and where a warm and friendly welcome is always guaranteed. Our delightful cottage is set in 16 acres of its own fields and woodland with sheep, goats, horses, chickens ,ducks and geese where we welcome our younger guests and children to feed and interact with our animals as well as collect their own eggs for breakfast. Our 3.2 acre lake to the rear of the Gite is available for Carp and coarse fishing @ € 60 per angler per week. We have some superb fish with Grass Carp to 20kg + and Commons and Mirrors to 19 kg + along with Siberian Sturgeon , Diamond Sturgeon ,Crucian Carp ,Tench and Catfish to 19kg, as well many other species of coarse fish including Roach , Pike, Perch and Zander which are exclusive to our guests. Many original features have been retained within the cottage and it is now a contemporary, well equipped, spacious holiday home, with NETFLIX ,WIFI ,GAMING corner with XBOX one S ,Wii ,Pro Table Football ,Boules Pitch ,Table Tennis , Darts , HOT TUB and an above ground pool and with full central heating, making it ideal for families and couples for all year round holidays and fishing vacations.

The property consists of a large airy lounge with vaulted ceiling, tastefully decorated with plush leather seating, bespoke handmade oak furniture, large screen Satellite TV, with Netflix ,Gaming corner with XBox OneS and Wii with a large selection of games and a sideboard full of books and board games suitable for all ages.
The lounge has double doors leading into the fully fitted kitchen with an integrated dishwasher, fridge freezer,5 ring gas hob electric range oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, steamer, slow cooker,2 coffee machines including a Dolce Gusto and Krupps Barrista and a large selection of kitchen wares and utensils, making your stay a real home from home.
The dining area seats 6 people comfortably, and is a very bright and airy space for entertaining with a leather settee and coffee table next to the large double French doors to catch the morning sun with a coffee. The 4 large French doors lead out to the enclosed covered patio area and garden, ideal for alfresco dining anytime of the day or evening.
The outside area boasts a large ,very warm, south facing and private enclosed garden with a canopy covered patio area with garden furniture, sun loungers ,a superb ,covered, brick built BBQ ,a boules pitch to settle family scores on, Intex Spa Jacuzzi ideal for relaxing in after a long day fishing or sightseeing and an above Ground swimming Pool , available typically from June to early September, Table Tennis , Darts and Pro Table Football and a large Bouncy Castle ,also available on request for hire ,fee payable locally per day ,please contact us before your arrival if you wish to book the Bouncy Castle.( Weather dependent )

The property has 3 bedrooms ,a spacious king size room with an outside door leading to the garden area, a second double room and one with twin beds, all are tastefully decorated, with matching furniture and all 3 bedrooms have their own modern en-suite shower rooms ,so no sharing bathrooms,each comprising of Italian glass hand wash basins ,with mirrors and lighting, double shower units with massage jets, towel rails ,toilet and radiators for your comfort in winter and out of season stays.
