The house

This beautifully restored 100 year old farmhouse is located in a quiet hamlet and until recently used exclusively by the owners family. Steps from a spacious courtyard and garden lead up to a terrace large enough for 8 to dine. The house offers spacious accommodation on two floors.

Entrance is to the very large and comfortable living and dining area with a fireplace at each end. There is a fully fitted kitchen with double patio doors leading out to the large terrace that is ideal for outdoor meals for up to 8 people. On this floor too are the large master bedroom, and a good sized twin bedroom. These two rooms are linked by a Jack & Jill en suite bathroom effectively giving each bedroom an en suite bathroom with shower, hand basin and granite worktop with plenty of cupboard space. There is a separate w.c. with a hand basin and bidet.

Stairs to the upper floor give access to a third twin bedded room, a huge attic bedroom with twin beds and easy chairs and a Pembroke table and this floor has its own large shower room, hand basin and bidet, a separate WC,

There is a large private garden with fruit trees available for picking in season and a private 10 x 5 metre pool with an electrically operated telescopic cover and in one corner a trampoline.

Further remarks

The property is the perfect place for extended families or families sharing - due to its layout it allows larger groups to be together but also to have their own private space in the main house. The house has been a private family home and has been lovingly renovated by the present owners who have now decided to rent their property.
The large private swimming pool has an electrically operated retractable cover which means you can swim whatever the weather and the pool can be completely secured when you do not want to use it making it ultra safe for families with small children.

'Our second visit was as happy and successful as the first. This delightful house proved a wonderful base; spacious comfortable, homely. Plenty of all the creature comforts such as an endless supply of hot water - to say nothing of the delights of the pool! '

We hadden in onze periode erg veel last van vliegen.
