The house
On the ground floor there is an open plan lounge with dining area and fully fitted kitchen, tiled throughout with rose-coloured terracotta tiles, which contrast nicely with the clean white walls and white boarded ceilings. The lounge area has comfortable sofas and pieces of Victorian pine furniture, TV, DVD, WiFi, and the smart kitchen area is complete with single-drainer sink unit, fridge-freezer, gas hob, and multifunction microwave oven. There is also a double bedroom with en-suite shower room with W.C. and basin.
On the first floor, under an interesting mansard-shaped ceiling, again with white-boarded ceilings, and with exposed chestnut roof timbers, there is a spacious bedroom with king sized bed, another spacious bedroom with twin-beds, and a shower room with W.C. and washbasin.
The barn is south facing and has fantastic views of the open countryside. Poulmarvezen is at the end of a very pretty lane, there is no passing traffic, so it is very quiet and tranquil. Private garden with garden furniture and barbecue.

Your holiday place is located in the Morbihan, in Brittany, at the end of a small very calm road and without passage.
Your cottage is stone, and combines the charm of the old with all the comfort of a cottage 3 stars. In order to satisfy you we improve them constantly.
You will be surrounded by fields and woods, birds and butterflies and you will be at most 10 minutes from amenities. You will be able to enjoy a beautiful swimming pool redone in 2017, covered, but discoverable and heated of 9 m x 4 m 50 and of a constant depth of 1 m 30.(The pool is shared )
Your children will enjoy our play structure and swings. They will also be able to go on the adventure on our 2 hectares of land and wood.
Poulmarvezen is located at the gates of Pontivy and Guémené on Scorff. We are not only less than one hour from the most beautiful sites of Brittany, but also our situation will allow you to visit as much Finistere, Morbihan as the Cotes D'Armor.

Via gites.nl waren we op zoek naar een rustig huisje met zwembad dat volledig Coronaproof was.
Op de website zijn we op ‘La Grange’ uitgekomen. Op geen enkel moment werden wij op de hoogte gebracht dat het huisje deel uitmaakte van een groter vakantiedorpje. 5 gites op één domein.
Ook het zwembad/ligstoelen en wasmachine moesten gedeeld worden. Niet echt waar wij op gerekend hadden. We waren op zoek naar privacy, rust en vooral geen contact met andere mensen.
De Gites stonden geschakeld (naast elkaar) het lawaai van grotere groepen (wat logisch is), , het niet in orde zijn van het huisje (boven kon je niet douchen omdat er geen stang was om de douchekop aan te hangen, beneden hing de douchekop met foutieve vijzen half in de Gyprocmuur zodat je deze niet kon richten zonder extra schade aan te richten, borden konden niet in de afwasmachine geplaatst worden omdat deze te klein was, schabben ontbraken in de keukenkast, het kastje naast de gootsteen rook naar riolering, ramen konden niet degelijk gesloten worden- tenzij je deze met veel kracht dichtgooide-, elektriciteitsdraden en batterijen van rookmelders hingen los,… enfin… Als je weet dat het huisje niet in orde is, moet je het niet verhuren, denk ik dan.
Na de eerste nacht hebben we meteen de eigenaars gecontacteerd en ons ongenoegen geuit. We wilden hier geen twee weken verblijven. We hebben afgesproken dat we een week zouden blijven en dat we de tweede week wilden annuleren. Dit vonden ze geen probleem. Ze erkenden ook de problemen van het huisje en moesten dit inderdaad nog oplossen (???)
Hopelijk wordt de website van Gites.nl snel aangepast zodat je weet waar je je aan mag verwachten.
Hopelijk worden de gebreken van het huisje snel opgelost.
Vriendelijke eigenaars, die zonder problemen het bedrag van de tweede week hebben teruggestort. De commissie (online marketing per verhuur) van ca. 180 euro hebben we echter niet teruggekregen. Deze moesten we van Gites.nl op de eigenaar verhalen. Bedankt Gites.nl. Ik denk niet dat we via jullie website nog iets zullen boeken.Frank Binnekamp from Alphen aan den Rijn,
Prima huisje voor de prijs. Middenin een rustig gebied. Volop te doen als je met de auto op pad gaat.
