Holiday home in France
The gite is a 2011 renovated 280 year old wagon garage. Entry is from a paved terrace into the main living area which has the kitchen, dining and sitting areas. The main bedroom is located on the ground floor and has an en-suite bathroom with shower, hand-basin and lavatory.Oon the ground floor there is also a second bathroom with bath, hand-basin, and lavatory. The second bedroom is on the first floor and has two single beds. There is a mezzanine reading area with a single bed and separate lavatory.
This gîte can accommodate additional persons i.e. small children - in the cot or a small bed making the maximum accommodation for 6 (i.e. 4 adults and 2 children) possible and ideal for a family with 4 children.

The property is located in one hectare of English style parkland and garden. The owners have a separate house on the property. There is a second gite which is also an independent building.

This is Calvados! Restaurants abound in the local towns of Deauville, Trouville, Houlgate, Cabourg, Dives-sur-Mer, Villers-sur-Mer and Pont L'Eveque. Other restaurants are available in the surrounding villages.
Daily French produce markets are within easy driving distance in different towns and villages.
Regional cheeses include Pont L' Eveque, Livarot and Camembert. A well known Pont L' Eveque producer is only 2 kilometers.
The region is famous for its Cider and Calvados producers. Distillery visits very popular with our guests.
Local restaurants range from traditional French cuisine through sea-food specialists to international cuisine.

Horse riding is available from stables just minutes away by car.
Rouen, Mont St Michel and Monet's garden at Giverny are possible day trips. Paris (by train) and the Chateau of Versailles (by automobile) are possible day trips with an early start.

Gîtes.eu commission, bath towels, tea towels, final day cleaning, bedding linen, heating, electricity, parking, WIFI internet access and taxe de séjour are included in the rent.
A refundable security deposit of 150 Euros is payable on arrival in cash or cheque (held without banking) . The deposit is refunded on the morning of departure in exchange for the electronic gate 'beeper' and door keys.
