The house

The renovated guest house is detached and private in our spacious, open garden (6000 m2), has its own entrance, a private terrace and panoramic views to the south. The pool (4 x 8) has sun loungers and parasol.
The cottage is equipped for two people, but there are also possibilities to place a baby cot and high chair
You enter into a cozy living room / kitchen equipped with all appliances. Tourist-information is available.
One door leads to the spacious bedroom with wardrobe and storage space. Another door leads to the bathroom with WCt, shower and wash basin.
Dishwasher, oven / microwave, TV (Sky-channel, BBC-news etc., Dutch, French and German channels) Internet, iron, towels, bed linens, barbecue, cot, high chair.

St. Sauveur de Bergerac is situated in a rural setting with hills, vineyards and forests, but also close to a number of villages /small towns ( with baker's, butcher's, supermarkets, cafes, etc.) on the River Dordogne. Lively Bergerac is a 10-minute drive away.
In the immediate vicinity are a number of attractive places like Lalinde, Issigeac and Monbazillac. The connections to cities like Bordeaux, Périgueux, Sarlat are good.

Restaurants, food & wine

The Perigord is famous for its wine and food culture. The wine chateaux (Terre Vieille, Tiregand, Montbazillac) are just around the corner. The mecca of Bordeaux wines, the very attractive St. Emillion, is about one hour away.
We are happy to advise you on the prices and quality of the various restaurants in the immediate area.


Lounging by the pool, walking in the area, visiting cities and towns, everything is possible.
The Dordogne is a very lively area in spring and summer. Various activities are being organised in the many villages almost daily (markets, outdoor concerts, vide grenier, evening meals in the open air, flea markets). You can rent canoes at several locations and go down the Dordogne. We are happy to inform you about the possibilities.
Cyclists can borrow our two tour bicycles. These are equipped with enough gears to tackle the sometimes steep hills. The beautiful 9-hole golf course of Chateau Les Merles ( is only 5 minutes driving,

Further remarks

The minimum rental period is, standard, a week. But after consultation we can of course come to other terms.

We provide laundry service once a week.

On the first morning of your stay we will provide breakfast.

Prices include gas, electricity, water, towels, bed linen and final cleaning.
