We arrived at our b&b booking to be greeted by the friendly owners pat & sarah , we were shown to our room by sarah which was larger and furnish better than we could have hoped for , next morning we had breakfast in the dinning room were we had a large range of english and french food including tea, coffee, orange, juices and still drinks . This set us up for the day as we had decided to go to Bordeaux which was about 30 minutes away and very easy to get too, we could have gone by train as there was a station a few miles away, we drove to Bordeaux and what a beautiful city it is ,with all the shops you could ever want ,The next day was spent swimming in the large heated pool ( a great experience in the early spring ) and i look forward to returning early next year ( if ever there was a pick - me up this was it ) . The gardens are lovely with plenty of parking spaces ,what did we think of our experience with Vine Gites ? we have used b&b for more than 18 years and this is the best , we would rate this as a five star rating for location , b&b facilities, bathroom and room standard of decoration and cleanness and the host as being very friendly and helpful in provide maps , direction to local restaurants ( 5 to 10 minutes away ) as someone once said " We will return "
