The house is situated in the old centre of a typical wine village, very charming with its 13th century church across the street. The view from the front is on a lovely small park. Recent development has not affected the town centre.
Just outside the village flows the river Orbieu, a good area for pleasant walks. Within a radius of 30km you can enjoy many different landscapes from flat to hills and mountains, lakes and sea. 3km to the town of Lezignan-Corbieres with all amenities and local market. Narbonne, at 15km is a larger city.
The village is in the process of realizing a 35ha golf course (9 or 11 holes) which will take another two years to be finished.
The wines in this area are excellent. The rooftop terrace offers a far-reaching views, all the way up to the famous
Cistercian monastery Fontfroide.

The house has been completely renovated, including new roofs, electricity , plumbing, kitchen, two bathrooms and three WCs. Heating through electric radiators. Hot water from boilers. The house has been used as a second home the last 15 years, some windows were not replaced because of their authentic look. The house has old fashioned natural stone walls which have excellent insulating qualities, and the walls were left ​​unexposed in several places.
