The barn is situated on the plain of Samoëns, south facing with a 1200m2 garden with trees to be shared with our 12 people gite.
Also ping-pong table, badminton and barbecue area.
Behind the garden is a large, sloping field that people can use in Winter for skiing, tobogganing, bobsledding, building igloos and snowball fights if you will.

Interior

This is an old traditionally renovated barn. On the ground floor, 2 living areas, separated by a level, very luminous (18 windows), allows the alliance of modernity and comfort. All here is functional, The wooden interior gives a very clear and warm feel to maintenance free chalet
living room, dining nook and American style kitchen (microwave, gas range, electric oven, dishwasher) First floor: bathroom with bath, wc and 3 bedrooms, one with bunks and another with a mezzanine. A cellar with washing machine and storage area.

Activities

Less than 1 km from the farm you will have access to the ski lift Grand Massif express, to the bottom tracks, to the marked itineraries for racketing, to mountain bike tracks and other walks, to the playground, to the historical centre of Samoëns, to the supermarket, to the "Giffre" river for fishing or to the lake aux Dames, to the swimming pool, to the paragliding, to the canyoning, rafting, hydro speed, canoeing etc.

In the neighbourhood (max 30 minutes by car): climbing, swimming, Skiing, Cross-country skiing, walking, mountain-biking, cycling, riding , water sports, Mountain climbing, Hang-gliding, para-gliding.

Description and distance to ski resort(s)

The 4th largest interconnected ski area in the French Alps is located in the Haute Savoie between Geneva and Chamonix. The Grand Massif ski area is made up of five ski resorts: Flaine, Les Carroz, Morillon, Samoëns and Sixt Fer à Cheval. The Grand Massif is a great place to come and relax all year round. There are endless opportunities to hike, bike and to do other outdoor activities in and around the two nature reserves which are located within the ski area. It also has a unique side to it in that it is not only world famous for its skiing but also for several modern day achievements that contrast with the authenticity of the villages and lend themselves to an unmatched ski experience...
