Activities
Lafare is a lovely small town in the middle of the Dentelles de Montmirail and the Mont Ventoux. This village is a good starting place for many walks around the Dentelles Montmirail. It is fantastic location for walking, cycling, climbing and enjoying nature and the landscape, or visit one of the nearby markets, e.g.
- Farmers in Velleron,
- Weekly market day in Carpentras, Bedouin, Gordes, I'lsle sur la Sorgue,
- Wine Cellars: Beaumes-de-Venise, Chateauneuf du Pape, Gigondas, Vacqueras.
In the neighbourhood (max 30 minutes by car): climbing, swimming, golf, walking, mountain-biking, cycling, riding , water sports, Mountain climbing.
General description
In the heart of the Provence, 30 km northeast of Avignon, in the rolling landscape of the Lafare vineyards, among the limestone cliffs of the Dentelles Montmerail and at the foot of Ventoux Montex lies our B & B ' Le Grand Jardin'. It is a beautiful area with cozy villages like Beaumes-de-Venise, Vacqueras, Luberon, Gigondas and beautiful historic towns such as Avignon, Orange, Vaison la Romaine, Carpentras and Nimes Pont du Gard.
Restaurants, food & wine
In the morning you will be served a French breakfast. Between 08:30 and 10:30 am we serve our guests breakfast on the terrace with incredible views of the well known Dentelles mountains.
During the season we serve dinner ( Southern French and Mediterranean cuisine) several nights per week at 19.30.
The evening menu is shown in the hall in the morning, if you want to have dinner with us please let us know during breakfast.
There is also a wide choice of restaurants and wine cellars in the area

We offer you 5 charming and comfortable guest rooms in Provencal style with private terrace and stunning views of vineyards and the Dentelles Montmirail. Each room has a private bathroom with bath or shower, sink and WC, heating in bedroom / bathroom, TV and free wifi.
Just enjoy the peace and quiet in the middle of a beautiful flower garden and nature area.
