The house is set in wonderful green surroundings, surrounded by a forest of oak and pine trees. There are 7000m² of grounds around the house to play and relax in.
You are in the middle of the beautiful Var vineyards, yet only 5 minutes from a lively village, where there is a typical Provençal market every Tuesday morning.
There is lots going on in Lorgues in the summer, with many famous restaurants like "Bruno", well known for its truffles,but also for its rustic ambience in the heart of Provence.
There is a lovely municipal swimming pool in the centre of town where you can cool off. You can also slip off to St Tropez to discover its famous beaches and the "St Tropez" nightlife!

Description

Interior

Le Cabanon consists of a main house and an adjacent free-standing studio.
In the main house there is a kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, washing-machine, oven, microwave and fridge. There is a central table with 6 chairs.
In the living-room there are 2 raised "mezzanine" beds and a double sofa-bed. Four people can sleep here comfortably.There is a ceiling fan.
There is also a shower-room with basin; the WC is seperate.

In the studio there is a big mezzanine with a double bed above and a single bed below.

Outside there is a garden table with 7 chairs, a ping pong table and electric barbecue.

Available: Dishwasher, Washing machine, Iron, Bed-linen, Towels, Cot, High chair, TV.

Activities

You can swim at St Tropez or St Maxime, just 30 minutes from the house.
There is also a riding centre at Lorgues and you can go canoeing or rafting in the Gorges de Verdon.
Visit the many local vineyards roundabout, like the famous Chateau de Berne, Chateau de Roseline etc.

In the neighbourhood (max 30 minutes by car): swimming, walking, mountain-biking, cycling, riding , water sports.

Restaurants, food & wine

The Tuesday morning market at Lorgues is fantastic and totally unmissable! It includes a clothes market along with Provençal specialities like olive oil, honey, goat's cheese etc.
The local Var vineyards surround the house: Chateau Roseline and Chateau de Berne are highly recommended, where you can taste some wonderful vintages!
You can also enjoy delicious cuisine in the many local restaurants like "La Table de Pol" in Lorgues or the famous restaurant "Bruno" known for its delicious truffles.
