The house is situated on a private island surrounded by 1,7ha. of gardens. The River Charente flows around the property. The gîtes are surrounded by lawns and gardens.

La Grande Maison has a 63sq.m , double-height living room, 26 sq.m dining room, large kitchen & utility room, bedroom & WC on the ground floor.
On the first floor is one en-suite bedroom, (bath & WC), another bedroom, shower room & WC, and a mezzanine.
Large groups can also rent Le Loft (3780) and La Petite Maison (8622).
Available: Dishwasher, Washing machine, Dryer, Iron, Bed-linen, Towels, Cot, High chair, TV, Fireplace.
Activities
Included in the price of your stay is use of our boat, canoes and pedallo.
Bicycles are also available.
Walking maps may be borrowed.
A large pool in the river is excellent for swimming. Play with the little fish in the shallows, jump off the platform or swim against the current.
In the neighbourhood (max 30 minutes by car): swimming, golf, walking, cycling, riding , water sports.
Restaurants, food & wine
Cognac, pineau and charentaises wines are all made locally. The quality of food and restaurants in the region is excellent. A comprehensive guide of the many local restaurants, from Michelin star quality to everyday menus, is provided for the use of our guests. Reservations can be arranged. Charentaise specialities can be bought from the producers in the village and town markets.

A great variety of flora and fauna will delight nature lovers.
