Gîte de la Gravée is right in the centre of the village Saint Michel le Cloucq, gateway to large wooded areas of the Mervent-Vouvant and Marais Poitevin. There are endless hiking and biking paths to explore, as well as many equestrian routes. The house lies in quite a historical area scattered by many roman churches, cloisters and cathedrals. The Atlantic coast has many interesting places to visit by car including La Rochelle, les Sables d’Olonne en les îles de Ré, and Aix et Oléron. Other known places like le Puy du Fou, le Futuroscope and Cognac are not far off either.

Interior

Our gîte is situated in a historic house in a quaint village located in the south of the Vendée. Downstairs you will find the living room with open hearth, a separate complete kitchen, a bedroom (double bed 160 cm) with ensuite bathroom with shower. There is also an additional bathroom and laundry room. Upstairs is another bedroom (double bed 140 cm) and the way to the mezzanin. In the mezzanin are two single beds (each 120 cm) for kids.
During your holiday we know you want things easy and comfortable. With this in mind we make available to you a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, hot air oven, electric stove, two refrigerators, a freezer, 2 TV’s - one with satellite ( english, german, dutch, spanish ... channels), video recorder, 2 DVD players, a stereo and a telephone. You will also find books, videos and DVD and games, free wifi internet connection
Linens are towels are included and your beds will be made up for you upon arrival.

We can offer you numerous addresses of local regional food producers like the fine wineries of the Vendée such as le Vix, le Pissotte ou le Prieuré de la Chaume, honey makers, and not to be forgotten Brioche, better known as le Préfou, or foie gras etc...

- from 14th July 2012 to 25th August 2012 : 685 Euros

Prices include normal electricity expenses, water, towels, house linen and bed linen. Prices exclude additional consumption of electricity both for general use and heating and wood for fireplace.
The rental price excludes end of stay cleaning. End of stay cleaning is the responsibility of the departing client(s). A supplement of Euros 45 may be paid to provide this service.
Deposit of 25% is requested at time of booking with balance due 4 weeks prior to arrival
