The warm Gulf Stream and the convenient location (protected by the tip of Brittany) give the Vendee nice warm summers with a cooling sea breeze. Beautiful places such as Les Sables d'Olonne and La Tranche sur Mer are in the vicinity. Our house is situated just outside a small village surrounded by forests and lakes, yet only 12 km from the beach.

Interior

Our house is in an enclosed plot of 3000 m2. Living and dining area with colour TV via satellite , stereo. Video and DVD player with good movies for children, telephone (outgoing calls with the card)

The open kitchen is well equipped with microwave, oven, dishwasher, there is an additional utility room with a kitchenette, fridge freezer, washing machine and dryer.

In two bedrooms you will find double beds (160x200) and a one bedroom has two single beds. There is also a cot available. All beds have single duvets. 2 bathrooms with shower and double sinks, 1 with additional WC.

A large covered patio with ample garden furniture also has a beautiful pool measuring 10.5 x 4.5 mtr.
Also present is a bbq, outside table tennis, petanque court and a children's swing.

Detergents and dishwasher tablets are available.
There are also hand-, dish towels and sheets for the beds in the house.
Final cleaning is included in the price, you do not have to do any excessive cleaning such as windows etc. But in response to unpleasant experiences we do ask you to leave behind a clean house, it is also clean when you arrive.

The bakery is a 5 minute walk to the village.
For the large supermarkets you could go to e.g. La Roche sur Yon, Tranche sur Mer and Talmont, some are open on Sunday morning.
