The house is in the middle of a field, in a little three-house hamlet, on the edge of a pastoral pool, immediatly close to the « forêt domaniale de Bercé » whitch makes up the view.
Tenants can enjoy the garden surrounded by a hedge. The village is 4 miles away.

Le Gite de La Poterie is situated on a large garden(1500m2), with a pastoral pool, close to the « Forêt de Bercé », 20km away from the river Loir. It is the ideal start point for walks, and rides, discovering « la Maison de l’Homme et de la Forêt »,« Lude » and « Poncé sur le Loir » castles, or the poet Ronsard’s house…
Ground floor
1bedroom (double bed), living-room/kitchen (convertible bed),bathroom, separate toilet.
1st floor :
2 bedrooms (4 single beds), idem.
2 cots, baby seat, potty, pushchair.
Extra bedding available.
Sheets, table and toilet linen provided
Set of garden furniture and barbecue.
Rolling chair : The access to the house is graveled, but there are toilets and shower-room on the ground-floor, the corridors and the switches are accessible to a rolling chair.
USB internet key requiered for internet access.

Activities
It is the ideal start point for walks, and rides, discovering « la Maison de l’Homme et de la Forêt »,« Lude » and « Poncé sur le Loir » castles, or the poet Ronsard’s house…
To pepper you stay, you can hire mountain bikes or packsaddled donkeys to go for rides and enjoy the diversity of landscapes that the region offers, such as forests, vineyards and even sports and recreation parks.
The Châteaux of the Loire are an hour’s drive, the famous « 24 heure du Mans » race, 35mn, and the music festival of « l’abbaye de l’Epau » 40mn.
In the neighbourhood (max 30 minutes by car): swimming, golf, walking, mountain-biking, cycling, riding , water sports.
Restaurants, food & wine
Sarthe’s specialities are « rillettes du Mans » and « Pineau d’Aunis » (red wine) or « Jasnières » (white wine).
Not far from « La Poterie » you will find gourmet restaurants like « l’Hermitière » in the depths of the forest,or « l’Auberge du Cheval blanc » in Beaumont Pied de Bœuf. The wine domains are all 30mn’s drive.
You will find rather large food markets in the towns of Château du Loir and Ecommoy.
The village of Jupilles has its own baker’s, butcher’s, café, and restaurant.
On Sunday, at the little food market, you’ll find cottage cheese, chicken and eggs, and local organic vegetables.
