This large and beautiful longhouse, surrounded by a vast landscaped garden, has a breakaway view of the sea from the clifftops. The residential environment, constituted of pretty houses and gardens, guarantees you a calm stay. One can reach the largest beach of the area on foot, by way of a nice path that twists through fields and villages.
Equally distant from Varengeville-sur-mer and from Veules-les-Roses, two magnificent villages, you can explore the beautiful region of Côte d'Albâtre or spend time enjoying all the things to do.

You can reach the largest sandy beach in the area in just a few minutes, by taking a pretty footpath that twists through the fields and villages.

The property can accomodate up to 11 people.

"La Maison d'Emma" (200 m2 - 11 people) offers some impressive common rooms and a few large bedrooms, decorated with old furniture. The garden is vast and well-planted.

On the ground floor: the entrance, a living room with a lovely Cauchois fireplace (firewood, television and DVDs at your disposal) a dining room, a very large veranda with a second living room and another dining room. Fully equipped kitchen that opens onto a small terrace overlooking the garden (refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, 4 hotplates, microwave oven), 1 bedroom with 1 bed of 160 x 200 cm and 1 bed of 90 x 200 cm and adjoining bathroom (bath, basin, WC), independent WC.

Upstairs: 1 bedroom with 3 beds of 90 x 200 cm, 1 bedroom with 1 bed of 140 x 200 cm, 1 bedroom with 1 bed of 160 x 200 cm and 1 bed of 90 x 200 cm, 1 shower room with WC, 1 separate WC.
Cellar with washing machine.

Outside: deck chairs, garden furniture, barbecue.

Parking lot: accomodates 4 cars, inside and outside the property.

Activities

SPORTING ACTIVITIES
There are many walks (on foot or bike rides) available in the surrounding area.
You can swim in the sea or in the all-new interior/exterior swimming pool on the Dieppe beach.
Horse and pony-riding can be found 3,5 kilometres away at Hautot-sur-Mer.
You can also play tennis or go sailing at Quiberville-sur-Mer.
There is a fantastic golf course on the seaside betweeen Varengville and Dieppe.
An airfield can be found at Saint-Aubin-sur-Scie (paragliding, parachuting).

CULTURAL AND TOURIST ACTIVITIES
Not far from the area is the "Bois des Moutiers", one of the most beautiful floral parks in France. There is also the Vastérival park of Princess Sturdza and the Shamrock garden, which make up the largest collection of hortensias in the world, with more than a thousand varieties.
You should also visit the Manoir d'Ango, the château/residence of the pirate Jehan Ango, one of the most flamboyant historical figures of Dieppe.
A little further from there you can find the château de Miromesnil where Guy de Maupassant spent his youth. Don't miss a visit to the kitchen garden.
Dieppe's château-museum is proof of the town's rich history (ivory trade).
Both the coast and the rest of the region are dotted with villages typical of the area: Veules-les-Roses, Saint-Valery-en-Caux, Etretat, Luneray, La Chapelle-sur-Dun....
The house is ideally situated if you wish to visit the gardens of Claude Monet in Giverny or the D-Day beaches. Paris is two and a half hours' drive away, Rouen is one hour away.
To visit the south of England, you can take a ferry from Dieppe, Calais or Le Havre to reach Newhaven, Dover or Portsmouth.

In the neighbourhood (max 30 minutes by car): swimming, golf, walking, mountain-biking, cycling, riding , water sports.
