The cottage is in a rural setting situated at the end of a small hamlet, with open views of the surrounding countryside to the rear and side. The gite garden is private and south facing.
Description
Interior
The cottage offers accomodation for up to 6 people and comprises of an entrance hall at the front, leading to a large modern kitchen including gas cooker, microwave oven, toaster, washing machine, fridge etc. From the kitchen doorway leads to a spacious lounge, with ample seating for up to 6 people, TV, DVD, etc. with a selection of DVD's for your viewing. Sky Free View (English) is available and FREE WiFi. A wood burning stove is there for your comfort if needed. There are a selection of books and information on local venues available to help you plan your stay.
A Traditional Breton Spiral Staircase leads from the lounge to the first floor. (May not be Suitable for the Elderly, Disabled or Young Children )
There is a large bathroom which consists of, shower cubicle, bath, sink, w.c. (towels are provided).
There are 3 Bedrooms, two with double beds and one with twin beds. (bedding is provided, also a hairdryer )
There is a private garden area with a patio at the rear of the cottage, for you to relax in and every effort will be made for you to enjoy your stay with us.

Activities
This recently renovated Traditional Breton Cottage is ideal for a relaxing peaceful holiday. It is situated in a small hamlet within close distance of the medieval town of Josselin with its historic Chateau dating back to the 11th century.There is a selection of bars and restaurants, two supermarkets, cinema and all local amenities. On Saturday there is a local market (well worth a look)
Also several other historic chateaus, neolithic standing stones and museums are within easy reach. The beautiful towns and beaches of the Breton coast are approx. 45 minutes drive away.
Ideal countryside for walking and cycling. There are several swimming pools nearby and the nearest golf course is approx 15 mins drive away. We offer free use of our bicycles (no hats provided).
In the neighbourhood (max 30 minutes by car): swimming, golf, walking, cycling.
Restaurants, food & wine
There are several restaurants nearby, some (routiers) provide the traditional luchtime menu of 5 small courses and as much wine or cider as you can drink for around 10 euros. Brittany is famous for its seafood.
Other remarks
The owners Pete & Rosie live in the cottage next door and are on hand to assist if needed.
