Our gite has a pretty, well planted and colourful garden with a view of the park and the horses and a small pond with the sound of frogs..
The village is located one kilometre away - you can find a grocery store there. It's a typical regional village with a castle and wine press.There are walks around the park and wetlands of Cotentin and you can discover the animals and birds of the region.
At Périers, you have all the essential shops at your disposal. The sea is 25km away with lovely sandy beaches.
An impressive cathedral can be found at Coutances, along with a beautiful public garden.
Take advantage of your stay here to visit Saint-Lo, with boasts the national "haras" (open for visits Thursday afternoons) and ramparts.
At Villedieu-Les-Poêles, you have the opportunity to visit a bell foundry.
Finally, you can also visit the old town of Granville and its harbour during your stay, as well as the Chaussey islands by boat and Mont Saint Michel.

Interior

The gite is situated in very pleasant, calm surroundings of gardens and countryside in a typical Cotentin village in the middle of the haras (horse stud farm). It comfortably accomodates 2 to 6 people, has been classed 3 épis by Gites de France and is decorated with great taste. A place to relax with spa, hamman and sauna to add to that Zen feeling or just to give you a breath of fresh air.
It is made up of one main big room with an open kitchen on the eating area side and a living space with open fire. WC on ground floor.
First floor: 3 bedrooms and a bathroom equipped with spacious corner shower and WC.
On the south side there is a view over the grounds, with garden furniture, loungers and barbecue.
Ping-pong table, bicycles, swing, and a leisure centre with golf just 3km away.
The gite is next to another rental propery. Perfect destination for nature lovers and those who enjoy outdoor activities, ideally placed in the centre of the Contentin peninsular, allowing you to visit many tourist sites: D-Day Landing beaches of Utah and Omaha, Bayeux, Saint-Lo, Granville, Coutances, Cherbourg, Mont Saint Michel (1.5 hours away) and fine sandy beaches 25km away.

Activities

Tennis courts are a kilometre away from the gite.
A golf course can be found 3 kilometres away.
All water sports are at your disposal on the sea coast, which is 25 minutes away.
Excellent aquatic complex at Saint-Lô (15 minutes away)
Several tourist sites in the surrounding area are also worth a visit.

In the neighbourhood (max 30 minutes by car): swimming, golf, walking, mountain-biking, cycling, riding , water sports, Hang-gliding, para-gliding.

Restaurants, food & wine

Our region is rich in local products. All typical Norman products can be found in the local markets : cream, butter, andouilles, cider, calvados, oysters, scallops, mussels, carrots and leeks from Créances

Other remarks

Take a family trip to the beautiful Normandy beaches of the west coast of the Channel, for walks, sand-yachting or simply to revitalise oneself, to relax or to enjoy Nature.
Visit the D-Day Landing beaches, Mont Saint-Michel (one hour's drive) or the other nearby tourist sites.
The l'O Rousse gite awaits you with a jacuzzi, hammam and sauna.
